AbbaMedix

AbbaMedix brings patient accounts, product discovery, checkout, and order management together through a Shopify storefront and a custom Strapi backend connected to Ample. My work went beyond storefront changes to the business logic and integrations behind patient access, profiles, payments, product data, shipping, discounts, and order processing. I developed and maintained these connected workflows, investigated production issues, and coordinated requirements, implementation, QA, and releases across the platform.

The Challenge

Patient access and commerce depended on several systems agreeing on account state, product availability, pricing, shipping, and orders. Changes needed to respect existing business rules and external API behavior while resolving production defects without breaking patient workflows.

My Contribution

I worked across the patient portal, Strapi services, Shopify integrations, and Ample API. This included login and recovery, patient profiles and order history, favorites, payment details, stock validation, shipping calculations, discounts, and order creation. I maintained product synchronization, caching, and webhook processing, investigated integration failures, and improved backend and storefront performance. I also translated operational requirements into technical tasks, coordinated dependent changes, and followed fixes through QA, release verification, and production support.
