The difficult part was making an entire media system behave as one responsive experience on a phone. Fast swipes can exhaust native video decoders; recycled feed cells and late network responses can start the wrong Story. Captions and a separate music track must follow pauses, seeks, buffering, and language changes precisely. Personalized ranking must avoid reshuffling the Story under the viewer. Sponsorship purchases must survive interruptions and reconcile with backend fulfillment across Apple and Google billing.
I worked across mobile and web delivery, including the shared backend, discovery, playback, user libraries, and sponsorship workflows. I implemented English/Arabic experiences and synchronized media behavior. The implementation uses a shared pool of four native video players with ownership checks, cancellation, and controlled preloading. A playback clock coordinates word-timed captions and a separate music track through seeking and buffering. Behavior-based ranking, language-aware media resolution, RTL layouts, and verified purchase recovery connect the product experience across platforms.
