Storyfi

Storyfi combines an agent-driven company workspace with a cinematic production Studio. A Core agent routes work to specialists for production, stories, workspace coordination, research, and distribution. Agent profiles define objectives, tools, memory, and operating boundaries, with spending controls and human approvals for governed actions. The AI Director translates scripts into cast and location references, scene assignments, shot choices, and visual continuity guidance. Scripts, images, word-timed narration, captions, and video assembly stay editable throughout production. My work spans agent orchestration, the Director pipeline, Studio editing, backend services, and self-hosted rendering used to produce Stories for Aqasis.

The Challenge

A complete cinematic Story requires many dependent decisions: a coherent script, recognizable characters across scenes, imagery matched to narration, accurate timing, and reliable rendering. Coordinating multiple AI providers adds latency, partial failures, and variable costs. The platform needed to automate this production chain while preserving editorial control, recover completed work after interruptions, and let company agents act within explicit authority and spending limits.

My Contribution

I developed the connection between company agents and the creative production engine, including specialist routing, tool execution, scoped context, visible costs, and approval handling. I worked on the AI Director workflow for character and location reference assets, scene composition, and continuity across generated images. A persistent dependency graph coordinates generation and rendering, preserves completed outputs, and supports retries and recovery after interruptions. The Studio lets users regenerate individual assets, adjust narration and timing, produce language variants, and assemble final video with Remotion.

Work Highlights

  • Agent workflows with scoped tools and memory, spending controls, and approval gates for actions requiring human review.
  • AI Director guidance for cast and locations, reference assets, scene composition, and visual continuity.
  • Editable script, imagery, timed narration, captions, translation, and Remotion rendering.
  • Persistent orchestration, bounded concurrency, retries, and recovery that preserve completed work.
